Rain in Hyderabad Till August 21 – Which GHMC Areas Will Get Wet?

The Greater Hyderabad region is expected to receive varied rainfall over the next three days, according to the Telangana State Development Planning Society (TGDPS) forecast.
As per the city forecast, moderate rainfall is likely across several zones of Hyderabad till 8:30 a.m. on August 19. Areas in the southern and eastern parts of the city including LB Nagar, Rajendranagar, Hayathnagar, Saroornagar, Uppal and adjoining zones are projected to record higher rainfall compared with the rest of the capital. Northern and western segments are forecast to see lighter showers during the same period.
For the 48-hour window ending on August 20 morning, the models indicate patchy showers. Localities such as Chandanagar, Serilingampally and surrounding stretches in the west could experience light to moderate rain, while other zones may only see brief spells.
The 72-hour forecast up to August 21 suggests reduced rainfall activity across the metropolitan area. Only isolated areas may receive very light showers, while most of the city is expected to remain comparatively dry.
